HOW THE SHOOTS WORK: Shoots are done at a fully equipped studio conveniently located in Studio City with helpful and friendly staff. Packages are based on the number of looks rather than frames of shots. This gives the actor time to warm up to the camera, have fun with the shoot, and get a variety of expressions. Armen likes to have this freedom as well, he can be more spontaneous, zoom in and out, shoot at different angles, and try to capture the essence of his client. Plenty of time will be given during the shoot for ideas and changes of looks. Shots can be taken in studio and outside in natural light. After the session is complete, you'll get to view all of your pictures and narrow them down to the best choices. You will receive your proofs the same day. Call with your final picks at a later time. Turn around time for the 8x10 print is about four days. You can always make an appointment with Armen to come in and view your picks on the computer screen and mark necessary retouching. |
WHAT TO WEAR: When picking your clothes consider the goal of the shoot. What type of personality are we trying to communicate? For headshots try to stay away from logos, patterns, excessive jewelry. The focus needs to be you and not your clothes. Solid and neutral colors tend to photograph better. Layers; Jacket for example, can work well. You can bring hats, glasses (non glare), jewelry, or any other props for a character specific look. This is not recommended for a regular headshot. RULES ARE MADE TO BE BROKEN. So, If you think a certain color or top works for you, bring it in, we'll have it as an option. Bring clothes that you are comfortable wearing and is part of who you are. It's always good to have a variety to pick from. For print, beauty, and fashion you want clothes that are more glamorous and sexy. You can use shades, scarves, big jackets and so on. Look through magazines for ideas. A professional stylist is highly recommended. |

| WHAT TO DO BEFORE YOU SHOOT: Make sure you are well rested and fresh. Come in with a positive and motivated attitude. You should practice poses and expressions in front of a mirror. |
| ABOUT MAKING AN APPOINTMENT: On an average Armen requires a two week advance notice. You can always try for an early appointment. A $50 credit card deposit is required when making an appointment. Regular studio hours are Mon-Fri 10AM to 6PM. |
